中文摘要 牧草、飼料生產及品質改進 本試驗「牧草、飼料生產及品質改進」共包括10項細部計畫,各計畫摘要如下:1. 尼羅草新品系選育:以8個親本採收雜交F1種子,繼續選育新品系(種),供農民適地適種之用。尼羅草良種繁殖供技轉戶用,以生產優質乾草及半乾青貯料及探討鹽分逆境對尼羅草的產量及品質影響。2.狼尾草新品系選育:選育產量與品質佳之狼尾草新品系,包括品系比較試驗、區域試驗及淹水試驗等,並評估狼尾草五號(NPcv.TS5)植體成分抑制糖類分解及糖化作用之影響。3.青割玉米育種:持續進行青割玉米專用品種「墾丁一號」族群改良,以應未來需求。除以產量、品質、抗性等為一般性育種目標之外,選育具有下列特性之品種:(1)適割期延長以兼顧草農長時間採收。(2)三交品種以降低採種成本。(3)適應性廣以應播種期變動及向北擴展,以充裕國內青割玉米的品種需求。4.芻料用高粱品系選育:本計畫擬選育芻料高粱新品系供推廣利用,並同時建立芻料高粱栽培與利用模式,期於春作單植或與其它作物如玉米等混植生產,夏作收穫宿根高粱,可克服因田間湛水而無法耕?操作的困境,且於春夏季多降雨期間,提供充裕的高品質芻料,穩定芻料產量與品質,以協助解決夏季芻料生產問題。5.間植用芻料大豆之品種評估:藉由前期試驗已初步篩選出適合不同期作的間植用大豆品系,本研究透過不同的栽培期進行評估,從中選拔出更為理想的間植用芻料大豆品種。6.氮肥對於狼尾草作為生質能源利用之產量、化學成分及品質之影響:本試驗探討氮素對狼尾草台畜草四號生物量能及纖維與礦物元素的影響,並建立狼尾草台畜草四號作為生質能源利用之氮肥施用量,以提供相關業者發展狼尾草台畜草四號作為生質能源利用之參考。7.寵物用狼尾草不同生育期品質變化之探討:本計畫目的在探討不同狼尾草品種於不同生育期之產量及品質,對寵物伴侶動物之適口性及消化率之影響,藉以提供作寵物用狼尾草栽培參考。8.狼尾草在逆境下栽培生產之研究:本試驗目的在調查狼尾草台畜草三號在高鹽分灌溉水下的生長及植體化學成分的變化,以探討含鹽灌溉水對牧草產量及芻料品質之影響,同時進行土壤理化性質變化之研究。本試驗結果將建立狼尾草在鹽分地之生長模式及栽培管理方法,提供濱海地區農民栽培狼尾草之參考。9.臺灣冬季芻料生產與產業化應用:本研究主要目的在建立臺灣冬季芻用燕麥的耕作制度與泌乳牛飼養模式,調查燕麥產量與品質,並製作燕麥青貯料作為乳牛飼養的芻料來源,分別於夏季及冬季進行泌乳牛飼養,探討燕麥青貯料取代30%玉米青貯料對泌乳牛採食量與乳品質之影響。10.北部地區甜高粱輪作的栽培模式:本研究探討冬季燕麥是否影響後作夏季甜高粱的產量,同時評估燕麥與甜高粱輪作是否適合做為北部地區的芻料栽培模式。
英文摘要 Improve of forage and feed production and quality There are 10 experiments included in the research project of "Improvement of forage and feed production and quality". The abstracts are as follows:1. Breeding of nilegrass ( Acroceras macrum) elite lines: The experiment is to cross open by 8 parents selected from nilegrass germplasms. The seeds will be harvested when they mature. It will sow seed and to evaluate the characters for each plant on next year. The new cultivar with high forage yield and quality will be selected. The effects of salt stress on the forage yields and quality of nilegrass will be determined. 2. Selection of Napiergrass New Lines: The objective of this study is to select the better line on forage yield and quality of napiergrass by interspecific hybridization lines comparison trial and regional trial. Animal trial will to test the inhibitory effect of glucosidase for napiergrass (NPcv.TS5). 3. Forage corn breeding: Forage corn is important for the development of domestic herbivore livestock industry. Forage corn breeding should be conducted continually. The new lines with three distinct goals are set in this project: (1). Stay green (proper harvest period extension) will meet the need of long harvest period, (2). Three-way cross variety will meet the need of reduction of seed production cost, (3). Wide adaptability will meet the need of variation of sowing period and extension of forage corn to northern area. 4. Research on selection of forage sorghum lines: The objectives of this study are to select the new forage sorghum lines for cultivation and to establish the cultivation method and model. Both the productivity potential and the quality changes in whole plants will be investigated in this project. 5.Evaluation of forage soybean varieties in intercropping: Forage corn intercrops with soybean is the solution to reduce the cost of herbivorous livestock management, it also promotes the nutrient quality of domestic forage. Some soybean cultivars suitable for intercropping in different cropping seasons were selected in previous experiments. The purpose of this research will select the soybean cultivars with high forage yield and quality at different cultivation time. 6. The effects of nitrogen fertilizer on the yield, chemical constituents and quality of napiergrass as biofuel. The objectives of this study will to determine the effects of nitrogen fertilizer on the biomass, chemical constituents and quality of napiergrass as biofuel. The results will be provided to the bioenergy manufacture for using napiergrass as biofuel. 7. The study of quality of napiergrass on different growth stages for pets. The objective of this study is to determine the best growth stage of napiergrass (Pennisetum purpureum) for pets, i.e, rabbits or mice. The major works are as follows, the agronomic traits, yield , quality and digestibility on different growth stage of napiergrass. 8. Study of napiergrass cultivation under stress. The objectives of this study are to evaluate the growth and forage quality of napiergrass that grow under irrigation with saline drainage water. Forage yield and chemical components of forages will be determined during harvesting. In addition, the physic and chemical properties of soil will be determined. 9. Forage production and commercial application in winter of Taiwan. The objectives of this study are to establish a farming management system including oat silage feed model of Holstein lactating cows. The oat yield and silage quality were examined. The effects of dietary supplementation of 30% corn silage replace with oat silage on lactation performance of Holstein lactating cows will evaluate during hot and winter season. 10. The cultivation patterns of sweet sorghum crop rotation in northern Taiwan. The objectives of this study are to determine the effects of oat planted in winter on the yields of sweet sorghum planted in summer after oat planting. The rotation cultivation with sweet sorghum and oat in northern Taiwan will be evaluated.
